Citrix officially announced acquisition of XenSource, a major contender in the Virtualization space with the new product offering called Citrix XenServer v4.

Mark Templeton announced it's release at Citrix iForum 2007, and communicated that this new product addition will move Citrix closer to Dynamic Virtualization for Business Agility.

Referencing the review of VM technologies(VMWare, XenSource, Virtuozzo and Virtual iron XenSource Enterprise v4 scored second, providing all of the same features as VMWare, except the Lab Manager features that provide developers powerful features to roll back changes. According to the review, it scored well in ease of use.
